Dr. Fin Williams
Founder & CEO (Consultant Clinical Psychologist)
Always the innovator, Fin's been at the forefront of improving access to services for children: developing services within the NHS and training new Psychological workforces at Exeter and Oxford Universities.
Driven by a promise she made to herself after receiving private inpatient support as a teenager, MindPsy is the culmination of over 2 decades in Clinical practice and research
Fin is also a proud mum of three (mostly grown) children & Maisie the dog, and there probably isn't a Watersport (or snow sport) that she doesn't love.
Lance Abson
Dev lead / Senior iOS and Unity developer
From crafting 8-bit games in my bedroom to developing for global brands like Sky, HSBC, Sony, and BBC, my journey reflects a passion for innovation and creativity. With over 50 apps and games developed, I bring a diverse skill set across iOS, Unity, Swift, C#, and Augmented Reality. I’ve worked on popular titles like Tomb Raider, Guitar Hero, Cannon Fodder, and World Football Manager. Two of my own games, Ding Dong Delivery and AI Adventure, were recognised by Apple and featured in iTunes’ Best New Games in over 100 countries.
Outside work, I recharge through indoor Skydiving, Flow Rider Surfing, volunteering at a local cat rescue, and traveling to new destinations.
Always ready for the next challenge, I love turning ideas into reality and collaborating to bring visions to life.
Praj Khairnar
AI Engineer
Meet our resident Ai whisperer and numbers enthusiast. Praj is behind MindPsy's clever combination of SLM and LLMs in an Agentic Ai application of therapy. Praj is a committee member at NHS-R Community and also an NHS Clinical Entrepreneur
When not chasing responses from AI models or diving deep into messy data, you'll find him scaling peaks and conquering trails. His superpower? The ability to binge-watch entire seasons faster than you can say 'just one more episode.’ Disclaimer: May spontaneously break into calculus or AI jargon.
Akshat Jain
Full Stack Developer
Akshat is our full stack developer. The conductor of our micro service orchestra, he's developed the architecture behind how we create MindPsy to be scalable and secure from the start. Resourceful, joyful, and committed, Akshat is an incredible team player and talented developer. Famously quoted ‘Fin, i was born and raised in India. I know pressure’
Rob Daly
Senior Data Engineer & Data Scientist
Rob is our Data Strategist, focusing on the combination of Data Science, Data Engineering and Data Analysis.
Rob has worked across many digital startups as well as NHS England, and has his own consultancy
He’s passionate about AI and the ethics that come along with it, so combining this with his love for technology and people centred healthcare is a perfect combination.
Outside of work he really loves mentoring young data professionals and is a huge advocate for data literacy and empowerment for non-data professionals too. He’s also a new dad and enjoying indoctrinating his new arrival in all thing’s technology. He's an avid reader and chess fanatic!
Sara Martin
Senior UX designer
Sara is responsible for all of our visuals. An absolute master of Figma and Blender, she's translated all of the data insights that MindPsy provides users into beautiful interfaces and infographics. She is a lynchpin in translating design thinking to the dev team, and getting feedback from our users on the latest offerings.
With extensive experience in UX design, having been with one of the Big Four for over 10 years, Sara is a key asset to the team.
A passionate advocate for the environment and community, she always brings the life and soul to our team socials, and is our reigning foosball champion!
3D Immersive Animator
Wei is an award-winning creator blending immersive cross-media art and 3D design to craft unique experiences. With six years of expertise, he has received global honors such as the Lumen Prize, Muse Golden Award, iF Design Award, and A' Design Award. Wei has managed large-scale digital art exhibitions like the 1,500 m² Journey to the Unexplored (穿越万象·绮丽共生) and Expected and Unexpected (每当星辰变幻时), which reached over 1,000,000 audience members across nine cities. His work is permanently showcased at London’s Home of Museum and includes collaborations with brands like ARMANI, Huawei, NetEase, Audi, Guerlain, Alibaba, Jaeger-LeCoultre, GAC, and Burj Khalifa.
At MindPsy, Wei is primarily responsible for 3D modeling and animation. He designs lifelike avatars that foster emotional connections, bridging users with their “compassionate co-pilot.” Driven by curiosity, he explores ceramics, XR, badminton, hiking, and theatre, infusing his life with vibrant perspectives.
